Stardust Beauty Salon was opened in June 1968, by Carolyn Sandman. Today, 52 years later, it is a family business with Kathy Canfield (her daughter) now running the salon. Both Mother and Daughter work hand in hand with other team members to provide excellent award winning designs to make you look and feel the best you can using the finest products with knowledge and innovation for their guests.
Stardust Beauty Salon is warm, family friendly and has an inviting atmosphere. We want guests to feel the difference the moment they cross our threshold as team members greet you with a smile and demonstrate that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and create a welcoming, nurturing team that never forgets that our customers come first. Carolyn Sandman, a Hair Designer for over 62 years, brings many years of experience and knowledge to the design team. She has won many awards over her career. She has helped over 1,000 cancer survivors with their wigs and skin care needs during their treatments and after.
Kathy Canfield, a Hair Designer for over 29 years, has many of her designs published in Passion and Inspire Books. Kathy is an American Board Certified Haircolorist. She is the local Chapter president for the John Amico Company and hosts and teaches classes all over the area. She is always learning the newest looks and color techniques on her annual Supernatural Salon Cruise and the bi-monthly classes held in the salon.
Kim Wills, a Hair Designer for 9 years, is an American Board Certified Haircolorist. She is an educator for the John Amico Haircare Company, and teaches classes all over the area. She is always learning the newest techniques in hair and nails to bring back to her clients.
